Evolutionary medicine is growing fast, and ISEMPH 2023 will gather delegates from around the world to share the latest advances and discuss current controversies. In addition to posters, talks, workshops, and discussions, the meeting will offer extensive opportunities for active exchange, and wonderful meals. ISEMPH is profoundly interdisciplinary and emphasizes the multiple interfaces between evolutionary biology and human health in the fields of medicine, evolutionary biology, public health, genetics, anthropology, evolutionary psychology, behavioral ecology, and epidemiology. Especially welcome are submissions from students and clinicians at all stages of professional development. Diversity in every sense is important for ISEMPH.

Abstract submission is now closed (as of May 1st)

This year's meeting will have exceptional training and networking opportunities designed to accelerate the careers of early-stage investigators (students, postdocs/residents, and junior faculty). These include workshops devoted to science communication, such as publishing with popular media outlets (run by an editor at Sapiens magazine) and in ISEMPH's flagship journal (run by the editor-in-chief), as well as navigating graduate school and job hunting.
