Information for ISEMPH 2022 Presenters and Panelists
Oral presentations are 15 minutes including introduction, change-over time and questions, so please plan on a talk of 12 minutes unless instructed otherwise by your session or symposium chair. Ten minutes will likely work best to encourage discussion. Session chairs will show a "5 min left" and "3 min left" signs to help you organize your time. Please be considerate as chairs might need to cut off talks that go over so people can move from room to room to catch talks that start and end on time. Please arrive 5 minutes before your session begins and introduced yourself to the session chair.
You should bring your talk on a USB stick identified with your name, session, and time of presentation. PDF and PPT file formats should work well. Please note that local computers are likely PC running windows operating system. At the venue make sure you give your USB stick to an ISEMPH 2022 staff member at the corresponding room and time listed below.
Wednesday, morning talks: give your presentation in the correct room on Tuesday from 15:30 to 17:30.
Wednesday, afternoon talks: give your presentation on Wednesday at morning coffee break or lunch time to registration desk.
Thursday, morning talks: give your presentation on Wednesday afternoon coffee break or during poster session to registration desk.
Thursday, afternoon talks: give your presentation on Thursday at morning coffee break or lunch time to registration desk
Friday, morning talks: give your presentation on Thursday at afternoon coffee break or at 17:00h to registration desk.
Friday, afternoon talks: give your presentation on at Friday morning coffee break or lunch time to registration desk.
Instructions for poster presenters
Posters must have a maximum size of A0 - portrait corresponding to 841 x 1189 mm or 33.1 x 46.8 inches, and tacks will be provided. Poster mounting boards will be numbered and presenters should use the assigned space. Each board will fit two posters so please be considerate with the space used.
Posters will be on display during the whole meeting, but presenters should attend their poster during the designated session. All posters should be on display by Wednesday, July 6th at 13:30h. You have the option to set up your poster on Tuesday, July 5th, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, or Wednesday, July 6th, from 10:00h to 13:30h.
There are several places where you can print your poster locally but presenters are encouraged to bring a preprinted poster. Below are two options at ca 15 min walking distance to the ISEMPH venue. At both places you can either contact them in advance through email or print at the moment while in Lisbon.
