Abstracts are welcome on any topic related to evolution, medicine, and public health. You can specify if you would like your abstract considered for a video presentation, a poster, or both.
All video presentations will be pre-recorded and posted on our conference YouTube channel. Video presentations should be up to 15 minutes in length. You can easily export a video/audio narrated PowerPoint presentation (as far back to version 2010) to the MP4 video format; other MP4 videos will also be welcomed. You will receive instructions on how and where to upload your video file, which must be received before June 30 if it is selected for presentation (you will be informed before May 15). During the conference sessions, presenters will give short flash talks followed by discussion and Q&A.
Poster presentations will be PDF files, with up to 5 pages in 8.5 x 11 or A4 format. Please use a large font. You will receive instructions on how and where to upload your PDF files, which must be received before June 30 if it is selected for presentation (you will be informed before May 15). Abstracts will still be accepted for consideration ONLY for those who request an extension or for exceptional circumstances. Please contact michael_muehlenbein@baylor.edu.
Meeting registration is not required to submit an abstract, but the presenting author must be registered by June 30.
