The Society offers two prizes each year

• The Gilbert S. Omenn Prize goes to first author of the article in any journal judged best in the area of evolution, medicine, and public health. 

• The George C. Williams Prize goes to the article judged best that was published in Evolution, Medicine and Public Health. No application is necessary, all articles published in the journal are considered.
