WHERE IS NASHVILLE?
Nashville is centrally located in Tennessee, just south of the Kentucky border. It’s well-connected, about a two-hour drive from Chattanooga and roughly three hours from Memphis. In August, expect temperatures to range from the high 70s to mid-90s Fahrenheit (25-35 degrees Celsius). Summer in Nashville is typically warm and humid, with occasional afternoon thunderstorms. We recommend bringing light, breathable layers, along with a rain jacket or umbrella for sudden showers. Sunscreen is also a must, as we often get plenty of sunshine.
Most venues, including public buildings and hotels, are air-conditioned, so you should be comfortable indoors. However, be prepared for a range of temperatures due to the humidity and fluctuating summer weather.
