Each conference participant may present a maximum of one talk and one poster. Being a non-presenting author on another talk does not disqualify you from presenting your own work.

We encourage submissions describing works in progress and unpublished results. The abstract evaluation process will not give preference to submissions with completed results over preliminary findings.

We offer travel awards to international students who are either unfunded or unable to obtain travel or conference funding through their scholarships. Preference will be given to students from low- and middle-income countries. Awards will be $1,000 USD for students traveling from outside Europe and $500 USD for students traveling from within the EU. To apply, fill in the travel award information section in the abstract submission form, including the degree you are pursuing, institution, country of origin and normal residence, funding status and source (if applicable), and a brief statement explaining why you think that you qualify for an ISEMPH travel award. You must be submitting an abstract in order to be eligible for this award.

Presenters are encouraged to register at the time of abstract submission. If registration cannot be completed at that time, it must completed and paid within one week of abstract acceptance notifications or the presentation will be removed from the program. Registration fees are refundable up to two weeks before the conference.
