BS from the George Washington University. Worked for two years doing trauma research at the UAB and as a CA at Children's of Alabama. Graduated with an MS in Evolutionary Medicine from UCLA.

Worked as a science communicator for two different startups—past was a microbial sciences company, and currently working for a wastewater-based epidemiology company.
