Biography
Andrew M. Simons holds degrees in Biology from the University of Guelph (BSc), McGill University (MSc) and Dalhousie University (PhD), and conducted postdoctoral research at North Carolina State University. Andrew is Professor of Biology at Carleton University, where he has been since 2000; the common thread of his research program is the evolutionary ecology of organismal response to environmental variation—from adaptive tracking, phenotypic plasticity, to the evolution risk aversion, or “bet-hedging” strategies.
